Well last week was the week for meetings. I was able to meet with our creative team: Robin, Joleen & Jay. We discussed the set, costumes, dance and brainstormed some great ideas! I have updated the calendar with some preset tech days, make sure to take a peek. Remember in order to letter you need tech time! Robin will be having dance rehearsal every Friday! Wahoo!! Then I met with our production team: KC & Erin S., we discussed auditions, music, fundraising, schedules, budgets....you name it! We got a lot accomplished! Auditions- Sept 7 (4:30-7:000 & Sept 8 (9-11)
Callbacks- Sept 11 (start at 4:30)Callbacks will be run similarly as before. We will email you music to look over before Monday. Then on Monday we will have you either, read, sing or both. We only callback people we need to see again, maybe it's for something specific (an accent or movement) or maybe we want to hear you read or sing with someone. If you are not called back that does not mean you are not cast or you don't have a featured or highlighted role. I know people had asked if they could bring their own piece, we are still waiting to hear back from an accompanist, but if you have a karaoke version of that song feel free to bring that along as well. We do not encourage acapella. By singing with music we can hear if you can match pitch and follow the tempo. The cast list with be posted on the web page under cast page, linked to Facebook. It will be posted on the cast board in the English hallway. Please make sure to initial next to your name to accept your role. All of this will be done by Wednesday morning. I hope this helps and we are really looking forward to a fin-tastic show [see what I did there ;)]. Please don't hesitate to email me or KC with any questions about auditions! ><(((`> Rachel Music for auditionsBelow is the music selected for auditions if you wanted to sing a number from the show. Please select a song that best suits and shows off your voice.
